Please join us for the first in a series of free talks taking place on the last Wednesday of every month. The talks are inspired by the incredible history of our old Town Hall building and local area, from radical politics to art and architecture. In the wake of the fire which destroyed our Grand Hall in March we are more determined than ever to celebrate our rich heritage and share stories with our local community.
The event on the 27th May will focus on some of the extraordinary and radical individuals from Battersea’s past who have inspired true political and social change.
With Prof. Penelope Corfield (London University) and author David Rosenberg (Rebel Footprints: a guide to uncovering London’s radical history).
There will be free drinks provided but places are very limited so please book.
