This talk, focused on visual arts, considers archival images and new creative projects. The exhibition ‘Present in the Past’, appropriated prints and fragments from London print archives, subverting them in scale and context to make new drawings that transformed King’s Cross into an architectural palimpsest. The digitally reprinted images were re drawn to evoke passing time through a mixture of memory and invention.
Speaker: Anne Howeson.
