Through the panels of ship's and people's names, The Merchant Navy War Memorials at Tower Hill tell the story of the Merchant Navy's contribution in WW1, WW2 and the Falklands War. Bryan Jones will present on some of the stories told by the memorial's names as well as discuss the creation of the memorial itself.
'Knowledge of the City' is a series of four lectures, with supporting walks, which run twice a year on subjects connected to the City of London.
All lectures and walks are given by qualified City of London guides. The Thursday night lecture is followed by a walk on the Saturday on the same theme.
All four lectures can be booked for the discounted price of £36. You can attend any combination of lectures and/or walks
