Join Silvia Paracchini for an exploration of the genetic factors that affect handedness.

Just one in nine people worldwide are left-handed, but why is this so? It is very easy to establish hand preference, yet very difficult to dissect the biology behind it. Find out what genetics can tell us and why this is an important topic for research.

Cafe Scientifique events are dialogue-based and allow time for discussion between and amongst the audience and speaker.
- This event is free to attend and open to all, no tickets are required
- Doors open at 6pm and seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis
