Gaia: Global Circus

This event has finished Took place on: Saturday, 14th Feb 2015

 Free

We are confronted with global warming and the prospect of mankind’s end, but we feel almost nothing. Will climate change overcome humankind? What must scientists do in order for people to believe them?

The French philosopher, anthropologist, and sociologist Bruno Latour presents Gaia Global Circus, an impossible scenario that takes place in the gap between the high stakes of global climate crisis and humanity’s lack of emotional engagement.

Performed for the first time in English, and followed by a question and answer session with Bruno Latour.
