1 day course will include:

• An introduction to Coppicing and its value as a woodland management tool

• How to select saleable hazel products, dead hedging and aftercare

• Tree identification and uses of different coppice species

• Practical demonstrations, then it’s your turn

• Learn how to ‘layer’ hazel to produce more stools

• Free tea and coffee brewed over an open fire

All tools are provided. Just bring sturdy footwear, packed lunch and waterproofs.
